SKY FM MASK UP EVENT 2020 will go down in history as a very challenging year due to the coronavirus pandemic and its obvious effect on families, WCRM Sky 102.1fm in partnership with PRI value insurance company as part of their corporate social responsibility on labor day ( SEPTEMBER 7, 2020) distributed free face masks and hand sanitizers to members of the Cleveland avenue community where the station is situated. In all thousand facemasks and over 300 hand sanitizers were distributed during the outreach program. Chief Executive Officer of the Sky media group, Mr. Ernest Opuni used the occasion to caution cherished listeners and the general public to continue adhering to precautionary measures to augment the efforts authorities in mitigating the spread of the virus in the Columbus Ohio Community. Skyfm is a multicultural community radio which broadcasts from downtown Columbus to over 26,000 area homes and potentially 64,000 listeners within the greater area and a virtually unlimited audience globally on the internet. Management of the station has reiterated their determination to use the SKYfm platform to serve the needs of the Columbus community and its environs.
